Our history in America and the World are riddled with conspiracy theories from JFK to 9/11 to the recent American Financial Collapse in 2008. The word conspiracy very simply means a secret agreement between two or more people to perform an unlawful act. It’s an agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful or subversive act. The key words here are “secret” and “subversive.”

The Bible is full of conspiracies from Genesis to Revelation. Conspiracies are an evil act of sin and at the heart of all conspiracies that have ever taken place in all of history is Satan who has been attacking God’s truth since the Garden of Eden.

In the last days, the Bible talks about the world’s last and most wicked tyrant that will rise to rule the world called the Antichrist. In fact, the Bible says that the spirit of the Antichrist is already in the world alive and well. In order for the Antichrist to rule the world, the world will have to be much different place than it is today. National sovereignty will need to be replaced by a one world government, one world economy and a one world religion. In short, a New World Order.

Any discerning Christian who continues to watch all that is happening in America, the World, Israel and the Church in light of Bible prophecy can’t help but see the supernatural spirit of the Antichrist at work that is moving the world towards a New World Order that will ultimately usher in the Antichrist.

Conspiracies are running rampant in America today. First there was Worldcom and Enron. Next came Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in the public sector along with Bernard Madoff, Marcus Shrenker and D.B Cooper in the private sector. This list goes on and on. (Click here to read article on False Profits and False Prophets)

It’s amazing to me how fast people quickly disregard even the possibility of conspiracy as we consider events such as JFK, 9/11 and the recent American Financial Collapse in 2008. By definition they were all conspiracies. The big questions are by who and why? We may never know. But let’s not underestimate the supernatural power that the spirit of the Antichrist will have in the last days and its influence over people. And let’s not forget that if you want to move a large group of people in the direction that you want, all you have to do is create a crisis that is loaded with fear.

When we start looking at the bigger picture from a Biblical perspective, everything changes. The following articles deals with the subject of a New World Order and the possibility that above our presidency in the United States exists a group of Global Elites that are secretly leading the world into a New World Order being led by the spirit of the Antichrist. Ultimately, Satan.

I know I may sound like a “kook” and a “conspiracy nut,” but it’s worth examining the facts before coming to any conclusion and I have done so for over 20 years. It is, at a minimum, a possibility that such a Global Elite group exists. Once again, let’s not underestimate the spirit of the Antichrist in these last days.

A few years ago, I read a great book entitled, “Shadows of Power” by James Perloff dealing with this very subject of a New World Order and in particular the Council of Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission. We need to ask ourselves a serious question today: Where is Obama taking America?

My sense is that Obama is taking America secretly in the direction of socialism under the guide of the Global Elite towards a New World Order. Why? For the love of money (and power) which is “the” root of all kinds of evil. Socialism leads to communism and communism leads to dictatorship. We know that from history. And those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

America is not prepared for what’s coming and either is the church. Instead of being awake, sober and alert as the Scriptures implore us to do, many are asleep-numb to all that is going on right before our eyes in America as the storm clouds continue to gather on the horizon. There is so much fear, uncertainty and confusion in our world today.

I am not sure what people do without the hope of Jesus in these perilous times.

Many are living in denial and are trying to escape the reality of what is real. Could it be that the Lord through all of this is trying to get our attention? Trying to get us to turn back to Him instead of the love of money which is the root of all kinds of evil?

To restate some of Dennis Lingo’s blog entitled, “Faith In What?” from Watching and Waiting, let’s face reality: The god of the age is wealth and that god’s name is Mammon. We have all seen Mammon at work in the past few decades as American’s have forgotten their first love (Jesus) and have gone running after this false god who promises happiness, friends, travel, big homes, second homes etc.

It’s amazing to me how many people I talk to that think that America is going to pull out of this current economic crisis and return again to a time of prosperity in the future. Maybe, but oh the pride and lack of reverence for what God has said will come to pass.

At some point in the future, the Bible tells of a different story-one that is not founded on Mammon. The Bible says that when the times of the Gentiles are over, that Jesus will return to earth accompanied by His bride (the true church) and He will destroy all unbelievers on the earth and their governments and set up His millennial kingdom.

America will pass away just like Babylon, Rome, Greece, England and every other world power who believed their day in the sun would never end. But God’s Word will never pass away. Who is your god?

America Is Not Prepared For What’s Coming

There’s certainly a lot of fear, uncertainty and confusion in our world today, isn’t there? Many of us are just downright scared, but few are prepared for what surely lies ahead. Recognizing storm clouds on the horizon really requires no discernment. Anyone with a TV can tell we’re in big trouble. Oh, we can sit around and complain about all the bad news being reported and crave a more positive spin on it all-but really, that would just be living in denial, wouldn’t it? And, I don’t believe that’s the answer.

It seems to me that the vast majority of us find our solace these days in all the amusements our world has to offer as a means to evade and alleviate those fears and concerns-distractions and diversions, if you will-those who don’t just surrender themselves over to drink or drugs to manage the stress of it all.

Sadly, those amusements have become a staple in the Christian life too, as evidenced by all of the coffee shops, recreation centers, celebrity concerts and high-tech venues required now just to gather crowds and hold their attention at church. What does this say about the power of God to draw all men unto Himself? (John 12:32)

It says to me that today’s church no longer believes that Jesus is enough-that the Living Word of God can’t really compete in a sensory-driven world and that the Holy Spirit needs our help. It’s not even enough to “tickle our ears” anymore. Now we need our eyes tickled, our noses tickled, out taste buds tickled and our funny bones tickled just to keep them coming back for more!

Is this what Jesus hung on a cross for-to see that His church could one day have the best evangetainment and facilities money can buy? Could this be what the Apostle Paul was referring to when he wrote to Timothy about those who had a form of godliness, but denied the power thereof? (2nd Timothy 3:5)

Has the love of money so perverted the minds of Christians today that they can’t evangelize without it? Who needs the power of God when you’ve got the power of money? (1st Timothy 6:10) Maybe this is why the economy is crashing to the ground-to remind us, yet again, that man cannot live by bread and circus alone-that he needs the power of God in Jesus Christ to put his fears to rest, find forgiveness and peace with Him and have eternal life in a kingdom not of this world.

Preparation for what’s coming begins on one’s knees in humility, confession and prayer.

“And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.”-1st John 2:17

The following article hits close to home. My wife Amelia and I were heavily steeped in C. Peter Wagner’s New Apostolic Reformation. We were first introduced to him through The Master’s Institute at North Heights Church in Arden Hills, Minnesota. Over a span of a couple of years, we traveled out to his World Prayer Center conveniently located right next to Ted Haggard’s New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado for several conferences that we thought at the time were of the Lord. We had apostles and prophets over us who were “speaking into our lives.”

In 2003, the Lord opened our eyes to the deception that we were in and I spent the next several years studying the false teachings C. Peter Wagner and the New Apostolic Reformation. Since then, Ted Haggard has fallen from his ranks as the Senior Pastor of New Life Church in a homosexual and drug scandal while C. Peter this past summer gave his apostolic anointing endorsement to Todd Bentley from Fresh Fire Ministries through the Florida Outpouring. Thousands came from all over the world to see him kick old ladies in the head with his biker boots for healing and call on angels named “Emma.” A short time later Todd Bentley’s teachings were exposed on ABC’s Nightline and he stepped down the following day from leading his so called “revival” meetings. A couple of months later he sadly ended up divorcing his wife.

When the disciples came to Jesus in Matthew 24, they asked him what would be the signs of his second coming. The first sign that he gave to them, among many others, was, “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name saying ‘I am the Christ’ and will deceive many.”

We are living in an unprecedented time of false teaching and deception in the church. The Spirit clearly says that in the later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons (1 Timothy 4:1). Many are following another Jesus, another Spirit and another Gospel signaling that the return of Jesus could be near.

False prophets from within the church as well as false profits from without are running rampant. The Bible says that the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil (the King James version of the Bible says, “the” vs. “a” in the article below). This is significant and sometimes where we lose critical translation. If the love of money is “a” root, then it’s just one of many evils in our world. If it’s “the” root as the King James describes (one of our oldest and most accurate translations) then the love money is “the” root of all kinds of evil. In other words, it’s the base of all evil that we see in our world today.

As we continue to watch The American Apocalypse happen right before our eyes politically, economically and biblically in the church, it’s crystal clear to me that at the root of all this evil is the love of money.

False Profits & False Prophets

“We live in extraordinary times. The 21st Century is already shaping up to be a quantum leap from the 20th Century around the globe. We now live in the Second Apostolic Age in which the biblical government of the church has come alive once again. The Holy Spirit has begun speaking to the churches about taking dominion of God’s creation as God originally intended us to do. Our 20th Century goal of saving souls and multiplying churches has been expanded to aim for nothing less than transforming our society. Along with all of these mega-changes is the impending fulfillment of God’s promises through His prophets for the great transfer of wealth. My sense is that we are looking at unbelievable quantities of wealth moving from the control of the kingdom of darkness to the control of the kingdom of God.”

Financial Greed: Occasion for Spiritual Deception

First came WorldCom, and then came Enron. Having created fraudulent reports of illusory earnings, both corporations bilked thousands of naïve investors out of their hard earned life savings. Now, there’s Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, federal lending agencies that doled out billions of dollars in mortgage loans to borrowers who had little chance of repaying them. Fannie and Freddie proceeded to sell the bad loans to banks that in turn pawned them off to other banks that yet again resold them to other banks. Now many banks stand bankrupted, the Dow has been halved, people’s retirement funds have been pilfered, and the whole nation is looking for the federal government to bail us out of this financial mess, a crisis caused by human greed. So to fill the coffers of the bankrupt banks, the President and Congress are creating a federal “stimulus package” that will further mortgage America’s future with a mountain of bad debt. The American dream has turned into an American nightmare. It remains impossible to calculate how anyone can go into debt to get out of debt. This is financial insanity. But there’s more . . . Greed is not only rampant in the public sector, but also in the private.

Nationally, Bernard L. Madoff now stands accused running a multibillion-dollar fraud scheme, perhaps the largest in Wall Street’s history. A list of his clients reads like the “who’s who” of the rich and famous. Locally, while passing himself off to be an investment advisor, Marcus Shrenker is accused of bilking people out of millions to maintain his lavish lifestyle. On the verge of being uncovered, like “D.B. Cooper,” he tried to disappear by allowing his plane to crash after parachuting into safety. Dead men can’t tell tales, and neither can they be prosecuted.

One client invested $79,000 with Schrenker, who then deposited the money into his business account from which he immediately paid the mortgage due on his $4 million dollar home. In addition to a plane, Schrenker owned several luxury cars. Another person invested $14,921 with Schrenker. “The money” reports the news media, “was supposed to go into a European investment account, which Schrenker promised to monitor through an online system.” But when the investor checked his account online, he saw that Schrenker, using the person’s password, withdrew the funds and deposited the money in his account. “I simply trusted him to do the right things on my behalf,” the investor stated. “As it turned out, he did a lot of bad things on my behalf.”[1] Financial fraud is epidemic in our nation. The words of Jeremiah are relevant. He said: “From the least to the greatest, all are greedy for gain . . .” (Jeremiah 6:13).

The irony of all this fraud going on is that what is happening financially in our land is also happening spiritually. Prophets for profit are proliferating, and millions are buying into spiritualities that are cheating them out of their eternal life savings. Peter predicted the rise of Christ-denying false teachers whom people in their sensuality will follow thereby scandalizing “the way of the truth.” Of these gospel swindlers, Peter warns: “in their greed they will exploit [i.e., 'make merchandise of'] you with false words” (2 Peter 2:3a; Read 1-3.).

Paul denied possessing any such ulterior money-motive in his ministry when he stated, “Unlike so many ['hucksters,' NLT], we do not peddle the word of God for profit” (2 Corinthians 2:17, NIV). Likewise, Paul told Timothy that “the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith, and pierced themselves with many a pang” (1 Timothy 6:10). On the one hand, greed is killing our nation, and on the other, it’s also killing the church. The one seems to mirror the other.

If people want to give their money to support the vacuous platitudes of the spiritual hucksters, then let them. There’s nothing, for the time being, that can be done about it. For those who follow any scam, an old Americanism says, “There’s a sucker born every minute.” And fraud like what’s happening in financial America is also happening in spiritual America. Like the prophet told Judah, “All are greedy for gain; prophets and priests alike, all practice deceit” (Jeremiah 6:13).

The spiritual fraud abounding in America these days capitalizes on the “felt” spiritual dissatisfaction of people with Christ. They, it seems, are ever in search of “something more.” As for me, I’m quite satisfied (not smug) in Christ, for Jesus told His disciples, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me shall not hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst” (John 6:35). People satisfied in Christ are not looking for “get-rich-quick-schemes,” either financial or spiritual.

So, please don’t let any spiritual huckster bilk you out of your eternal life savings! Find satisfaction in the Word and Spirit of Christ.

The Truth:

“But He said, Ye rather, blessed are they that hear the Word of God, and keep it.”
(Luke 11:28)

The Bible suggests the Middle East is the epicenter of the world. Recent events in Israel and related to Israel should have everyone’s attention. I’m not a dreamer believing all eyes are on that region, but I am hopeful that a remnant is paying attention.

Here’s why:

1) On February 20, Israeli President Shimon Peres chose hard-line Likud Party leader Benjamin Netanyahu to form a new Israeli government, ending days of speculation and giving Netanyahu six weeks to put together a ruling coalition.

2) Netanyahu might have little choice but to forge a coalition with nationalist and religious parties opposed to peacekeeping with the Palestinians and Israel’s other Arab neighbors.

3) This could set Israel on a collision course with the U.S. — the Jewish state’s top international patron. Additionally, President Obama has vowed to make Mideast peace a top priority. His first call in the Oval Office was to Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas.

4) Even deeper wounds will be the result if Netanyahu keeps his pledge to topple the Hamas government in Gaza. He is correct when he says Israel halted the Gaza offensive too soon. This will further enrage the world that has sympathy for the devil — Hamas — which wishes Israel be wiped off the map. Worldwide anti-Semitism is growing so fast that some compare parts of Europe to Germany in the 1930’s.

5) On February 14, the Obama administration announced that it would be sending a delegation to Geneva to participate in planning the United Nation’s so-called Durban II conference scheduled for late April. This sent shock waves through Jerusalem as these meetings are anti-Israel hate-fests. The Durban II conference was announced in the summer of 2007. Its stated purpose is to review the implementation of the declaration adopted at the United Nation’s anti-Israel debacle that took place in Durban, South Africa, the week before the September 11, 2001, attacks on America. This is a serious mistake America and the Obama administration are making.

6) We are seeing the beginnings of Zechariah 12:3–all nations, including America, turning on God’s land and people.

7) The conclusion can be made that some Israelis are sick of the antics of the Left in Israel. Her retreat in recent wars only allows her enemies to re-arm and plan further conflict without end.

United Nations officials said Thursday, February 19, that Iran now has enough enriched uranium to produce one nuclear bomb. This revelation comes just as the Obama Administration is drawing up its policy on negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program. “It appears that Iran has walked right up to the threshold of having enough low enriched uranium to provide enough raw material for a single bomb,” said Peter Zimmerman, a former chief scientist of the US Arms Control and Disarmament Agency.

The new figures come in a report from the International Atomic Energy Agency, the UN’s nuclear watchdog, released on Thursday. This revealed that Iran’s production of low enriched uranium had previously been underestimated. When the agency carried out an annual stocktaking of Natanz in mid-November, Iran had produced 839kg of low enriched uranium hexafluoride – more than 200kg more than previously thought. Tehran produced an additional 171kg by the end of January.

“It’s sure certain that if they didn’t have it [enough] when the IAEA took these measurements, they will have it in a matter of weeks,” Mr. Zimmerman said (“Iran holds enough uranium for bomb,” Daniel Dombey, Washington, (read article).

Experts say Iran has now reached the point it has enough fissile material to build a bomb in just a matter of months. This is a red line that Israel has previously said it could not allow Iran to cross.

The Middle East continues to be perched on the cusp of action that diplomats around the world fear could be a trigger to the first unleashing of atomic warfare since the end of World War II when America bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has declared on numerous occasions that he intends to wipe Israel from the face of the Middle East. This isn’t just the raving of a mad dictator. Ahmadinejad is a deeply committed Muslim of the most radical sort who believes that bringing on Armageddon will cause the twelfth Imam, the Islamic version of the Messiah, to come forth and install Islam as the one religion on earth.

This action can only take place when Israel and the “great Satan,” America, are removed from the planet, so the ravings go. The likelihood of Binyamin Netanyahu becoming Israel’s next prime minister sets the international community’s collective teeth on edge even more, the right wing leader of Likud having vowed to do whatever is necessary to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.

                                                              Netanyahu and Peres

Published February 19, 2009 by The Jerusalem Post

After the failure of his last-ditch effort to muster Kadima leader Tzipi Livni’s support for a unity government on Friday, President Shimon Peres formally entrusted Likud chairman Binyamin Netanyahu with the task of building a coalition. Netanyahu arrived as Beit Hanassi on Friday afternoon and received the president’s official letter of appointment.

Earlier, after emerging from a meeting with Peres, Livni announced that she had no intention of joining a broad coalition under Netanyahu, despite the Likud chairman’s assertion that he was willing to “go to great lengths” in order to induce Kadima to join his government.

“For decades we have not withstood so many challenges at the same time. To face up to these challenges we need to join hands and unite all the forces within the people. I call on all parties, those who recommended me and those who didn’t. I turn to [Kadima leader Tzipi] Livni and to [Labor leader Ehud] Barak – let us join hands and pledge for the future of Israel. I hope to meet with you first and discuss a wide unity government.”

Published February 9, 2009 by Dr. David R. Reagan

False prophets are all over the landscape today, and they are a sign of the times pointing to the soon return of Jesus. Jesus Himself warned of false prophets in the end times. His most detailed discourse on end time signs is recorded in Matthew 24. In that passage the very first sign He mentions is false prophets (Matthew 24:4-5), and it is the only sign He repeats (Matthew 24:11,24). His warning was blunt and plain spoken: “Many false prophets will arise, and will mislead many.”

The Apostle Paul echoed the Lord’s warning when he spoke to the elders of the church in Ephesus. Here’s how he put it, as recorded in Acts 20:28-31 “Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock… [for] I know that after my departure, savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things to draw away the disciples after them. Therefore, be on the alert.”

Peter and John also warned against the danger of false prophets. Peter asserted that false prophets would “introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master” (2 Peter 2:1). John exhorted his brethren to “test the spirits to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1).

John proceeded to provide a test that should be given to prophets. He said they are to be asked to confess that “Jesus Christ has come in the flesh” and that He is from God (1 John 4:2). He went on to assert that anyone who refuses to confess that Jesus is from God has the “spirit of antichrist” (1 John 4:3).

The Old Testament test of a prophet is spelled out in Deuteronomy 18:22“When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously…”

This, of course, is an obvious test. But what if the prophecy is fulfilled? Does that guarantee that the prophet is speaking for God? Not necessarily. The reason is that a prophetic utterance might be fulfilled by coincidence or because of supernatural insight given to the prophet by Satan. So there must be other tests.

Abstract: The kingdom of darkness infiltrated the Christian church with a view to adulterating it by proclaiming a counterfeit Jesus, a counterfeit spirit and a counterfeit gospel. Scripture quotations are from the King James Version of the Holy Bible except where otherwise indicated. Only very archaic terms have been substituted, between brackets, with correlating terms from the New King James Version (NKJV). All pronouns referring to the Godhead are capitalised. Edited by Bernard and Kathleen Reeves of London.

A Solemn Warning: Since the start of the Christian era, many churches have shown a fatal inability to distinguish between the truth of God’s inspired Word and misrepresentations of it: “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed” (Gal. 1:6-8).

The congregation in Corinth suffered from the same lack of discernment and spiritual insight: “For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent [deceived] Eve through his [craftiness], so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, [you put up with it well]… For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no [wonder]; for Satan… [transforms himself] into an angel of light” (2 Cor. 11:2-4,13-14; emphasis added).

From these quotations it is evident that there are three main ways in which the truth of Scripture can be falsified by Satan to deceive Christians and lead them astray. These perversions involve crucial issues at the very core of our faith and are intended to deceive people into accepting another Jesus, another spirit, and another gospel.

Satan’s strategy to attack, misrepresent and pervert the Christian faith has continued unabated throughout the entire church dispensation. It is crucially important that the particular forms of deception current in these last days should be rejected and exposed by all who profess to be Christians.

Most of you know why miners used to have a canary in the mine shift with them…because the bird would die from poison gas and when the miners saw the bird die, they knew they had but a few minutes to exit the mine before they also died.

This article about California on the brink of financial meltdown makes me wonder if the state is the U.S’s canary in the mine shaft. If that state falls, it makes me wonder if we will only have a short time before we all succumb to the financial poison we have all been breathing.

During a news conference with reporters, the president pro tempore of the State Senate, Darrell Steinberg, said he would once again order lawmakers to stay in the capitol Tuesday until a deal was hammered out. Failure to reach agreement, he said, would be “catastophic.”

Also, have you noticed that California and New York are the states being mentioned to have the most catastrophic financial situations?? Have you further noticed that they are two of the most liberal states in the union? I would also be curious to know what percentage of each state’s population would claim to be born again and indwelt with the Holy Spirit. It would be interesting to watch and see if there is a correlation between state’s problems vs. the percentage of Christ followers.

We will need to put up our antenna on that question.

Thessalonians clearly tells us that the Holy Spirit is currently restraining evil, chaos and mayhem on earth. It may stand to reason that the chaos and mayhem may first manifest itself where the Holy Spirit has the least amount of presence.

What do you think?
